Tickets Go On Sale for Crufts 2020: The World’s Greatest Celebration of Dogs
- NEC in Birmingham will host over 27,000 dogs from across the world on 5th - 8th March 2020
- Dogs will compete in numerous disciplines and for the ultimate Best in Show prize
- One four-legged hero and their owner will be crowned ‘Friends for Life’ following a public vote and the winner of the country’s favourite crossbreed competition, Scruffts, will be chosen
- The show will be broadcast on Channel 4 and live streamed on the Crufts’ YouTube channel
Crufts, the world’s greatest celebration of dogs, returns to the NEC in Birmingham from 5th - 8th March 2020, and tickets are now on sale.
The four-day event, which attracts more than 150,000 people and over 27,000 dogs, boasts a diverse programme of dog competitions in different categories and levels, including the finale of the prestigious Friends for Life competition which recognises unsung canine heroes and a celebration of crossbreeds with the Scruffts final. There will also be opportunities to meet and greet around 200 different breeds in the Discover Dogs area, shop for doggie delights at the many specialist trade stands and enjoy the full arena show with all its displays and competitions.
Show-goers have the opportunity to follow the Best in Show journey beginning with the Utility and Toy group competitions on Thursday 5thMarch, Gundog group on Friday 6th, Working and Pastoral groups on Saturday 7th and the Terrier and Hound groups on Sunday 8th. The event culminates with the announcement of the public vote for Friends for Life followed by the exciting Best in Show finale on Sunday evening.
Two breeds will also be making their Crufts debut at the 2020 show. The Barbet, an ancient French breed, will be shown for the first time, while the Harrier, a native hound which will be recognised by the Kennel Club from January 2020, will make its premier appearance in the Discover Dogs area.
Elsewhere, stands and areas offer an opportunity to learn more about other Kennel Club activities, including partnerships with veterinary and animal health organisations that fuel research into treatments of various canine conditions and diseases. Kennel Club Breed Rescue organisations will be showcasing their hard work and successes in rehoming breed rescue dogs on the Kennel Club stand where visitors can find out about rescue dogs looking for their forever home.
Visitors can also enjoy the ultimate shopping experience with over 400 stands selling all sorts of doggy delights, including dog food, toys and beds, as well as outdoor clothing and other equipment.

It is great to welcome our two new breeds this year and to offer our visitors the opportunity to meet and get to know 200 dog breeds in the Discover Dogs area and talk to the breed experts to find the best breed for them.”
