#ThrowbackThursday – 1968 Westminster Kennel Club

In honor of the 2019 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, this week we are sharing a photo from the 1968 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

The photo shows Mr. Peter Green handling Lakeland Terrier, Ch. Stringray of Derryabah, to Best in Show. At the time, this Lakeland Terrier was the first and only dog to win Best in Show at both Westminster and Crufts. This win marked the first of four Westminster Kennel Club Best in Show wins for Mr. Green as a handler.

This year, we can’t wait to watch Mr. Green judge Best in Show at the 2019 Westminster Kennel Club. What a well deserved honor! Congratulations to Mr. Green!
