Sunday, May 1st is National Purebred Dog Day!
National Purebred Dog Day is Sunday, May 1st. It is a day to celebrate the heritage, diversity and predictability of the purebred dog and each individual breed’s purpose. How will you celebrate with your purebred dog?
According to NationalPureBredDogDay.com, Susi Szeremy, a writer and Puli enthusiast, created National Purebred dog day in 2013 in hopes to create an opportunity to bring balance to the conversation regarding responsible dog ownership by including the voice of purebred dog owners. The National Purebred Dog Day website features highlights on particular breeds, a newsletter, an online store, and much more.
In March of 2015, Colorado was the first state to recognize May 1st as National Purebred Dog Day. Enjoy this Sunday by honoring and celebrating your purebred dog!
