Remembering Keke Kahn
We received the sad news of the passing of our friend, Mrs. Keke Kahn. Mrs. Kahn was a respected AKC Judge of all breeds. She was also a breeder of top Lhasa Apsos. She began her judging career in 1972 and achieved All-Breed status in 1997. She was fortunate to have judged all over the world. She retired from judging in 2019.
Having bred 58 AKC Champions and 6 Best In Show Winners, her favorite achievement as a breeder was winning the National Specialty two years in a row.
Keke always spoke lovingly of her 3 children and 7 grandchildren. She always had a big smile when she spoke of her family. She loved judging, and she will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Her loss is truly a loss for the sport of purebred dogs.
The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to her friends and family.
