Remembering Dr. Bob G. Smith
The Canine Chronicle received the sad news of the passing of judge Dr. Bob G. Smith. Dr. Smith judged the Sporting group, as well as Junior Showmanship, and enjoyed judging internationally as well. Outside of purebred dogs, Dr Smith received his Doctorate from The University of Alabama.
Dr. Smith began his involvement with purebred dogs in the early ’70s with a Cocker Spaniel. He was an active member of many clubs, most notably as show chairman of the American Spaniel Club. Dr. Smith also authored many articles for The Canine Chronicle.
The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to his friends and family.
