Remembering Pat Hastings

Family, friends and many in the sport of purebred dogs are mourning the passing of Pat Hastings.

Pat has been involved with dogs since 1959, in many ways, from owner handler, breeder, professional handler as well as an AKC judge. Pat was a teacher to so many dog fanciers through her seminars and award winning books. Pat received the 2014 AKC Lifetime Achievement Award in Conformation.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to Pat’s family. She was a friend and mentor to so many in our sport. She will be missed be all who knew her.
