Feel Good Friday

At the Fargo-Moorhead Kennel Club Dog Shows this past weekend, handlers Howard and Heidi Huber made a lasting impression on Erica Brookshire’s young daughter, Riley Brookshire.

Even as a third generation dog lover and handler, Riley’s nerves were a bit shaken this particular weekend, as it was her first time competing in Junior Showmanship with her English Springer Spaniel. Howard and Heidi took Riley under their wings in Fargo and eased Riley’s nerves. Riley helped groom and prep Teddy for his win photos and Howard even gave her a lasting memory and momento from the weekend – Teddy’s Group First and Reserve Best in Show ribbons! Teddy is GCH Cerise Bonanza, one of the nation’s top Sporting dogs.
