Remembering Yvonne Phelps

We received the sad news that Yvonne “Billie” Phelps passed away in her sleep at her home on May 4, 2022.  Billie was an icon in Miniature Schnauzers under the kennel name of Sole Baye. Her dogs were handled initially by Maripi Wooldridge and later she and Ruth Zeigler (Allaruth) had dogs handled by Bergit and Han Kabel.

Billie’s dog, Ch. Sole Baye’s TJ Esquire, was selected by the AKC to represent the breed on the AKC dog chart.

Billie will be greatly missed, especially by the schnauzer community which became like family as she came to the US from England.
