Remembering Romayne Strilka-Switch

Family and friends are mourning the passing of Romayne Strilka-Switch of Lambertville, NJ.

Romayne had a love of Afghan Hounds. She enjoyed judging and she was licensed for the Hound group. Her friends remember her for her friendship and support as new exhibitors.

Romayne also had a love for dancing that began at the age of 5. She eventually became a member of the famous Radio City Music Hall Rockettes in New York City and worked with the Rockettes for seven years. She also she founded the Westchester Theatre Dance Academy in Bedford Hills, New York in 1964 along with her sister Mary Anne.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to her husband Michael Switch, family, friends and the dog show community following her passing.
