Kimberly Rudzik Hired as AKC Executive Field Representative
The American Kennel Club is pleased to announce that Kimberly Rudzik has been hired as an Executive Field Representative based in Utah.
Rudzik has worked as a professional dog handler for over 30 years and has bred over 70 AKC Champions. Her involvement in the sport started from a young age, as she was introduced to breeding by her mother. During her adolescence, she participated in Jr. Showmanship and continued to pursue a handling career, handling dogs to almost 80 Best in Shows to date.
“Kim brings a broad background to her new position at AKC. She is a successful breeder of American Staffordshire Terriers, a second-generation breeder of Dalmatians, and was an All-Breed Professional Handler. All this experience will be valuable assets as an Executive Field Representative,” said Sandy D’Andrea, Field Director, Conformation. “The American Kennel Club is proud to welcome her to the staff.”
In addition to her impressive resume in dog handling, Rudzik has been a member of the American Staffordshire Terrier Club of America for 10 years, holding numerous positions including Club Secretary, President and currently Vice President.
