Remembering William Usherwood

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mr. William Usherwood of Springfield, Illinois. Bill was a popular AKC Judge of all Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding breeds.

Before embarking on a successful 30 show year judging career, Bill was a breeder of Italian Greyhounds. He had a close association with the breed for many years. He enjoyed traveling all over the world, judging in over 20 different countries. He was known for his kindness and friendly demeanor to all exhibitors.

He will be sorely missed by the fancy. The Canine Chronicle extends our condolences to his many friends and family during this time.
