Remembering Wade Burns

It is with great sadness and regret that we report that Wade Burns of Lanbur Beagle fame has passed away.

Wade Burns was involved with purebred dogs since his youth as a professional handler and breeder. His success in the sport spans over Shetland Sheepdogs, Collies and Beagles in partnership with Jon Woodring. Lanbur Beagles are responsible for a myriad of outstanding Beagles and are also included in many successful breeding programs around the world. Wade Burns and Jon Woodring are also breeders of world champion Miniature Horses.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to Jon Woodring and to those who knew and loved Wade. He will be sorely missed. The sport of purebred dogs has lost a master breeder and wonderful friend.
