Remembering Mr. Robert S Forsyth

It is with great sadness and regret that we report that a true legend in the sport of purebred dogs, Mr. Robert Forsyth of Pinehurst, North Carolina has passed away. Mr. Forsyth was a highly revered and respected former professional handler, judge of all breeds, mentor and friend. He was an icon in the dog show community.

He and his wife, Jane, were a highly successful husband and wife handling team, being the only married couple to have both won Best in Show at Westminster Kennel Club. They went on to be respected and knowledgeable judges of all breeds.

The Canine Chronicle would like to express our deepest condolences to Sioux Forsyth, all of Bob’s friends, family, and the entire dog show community during this difficult time. He will be sorely missed.
