Remembering Mr. Norman Patton

We just received the sad news that Mr. Norman Patton of Mesa, Arizona passed away today, Friday, April 28, 2017.

Mr. Patton was a highly regarded and respected AKC judge of all Sporting, Terrier, Toy, and Non-Sporting breeds, as well as Best in Show and a variety of other breeds.

Mr. Patton was successful in all areas of the sport of purebred dogs, as a past professional handler, breeder-owner-handler, and of course AKC judge. Notably, he was the breeder and owner of Ch. Dragonwyck The Great Gatsby, the top winning Shih Tzu of all time for many years and the owner of Ch. MVP of Ahs, a Top Winning Toy Poodle and Westminster Kennel Club Group winner. As a judge, he judged all over the world and at numerous prestigious venues in the United States and abroad.

Norman will be remembered as a knowledgeable dog person, wonderful mentor, and great friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
