Remembering Hans Lehtinen
It is with great sadness and regret that we report the passing of Mr. Hans Lehtinen of Vantaa, Finland.
Mr. Lehtinen dedicated his life to the sport of purebred dogs. Before starting his illustrious judging career in 1953, he was involved with Dachshunds, English Cocker Spaniels, Standard Schnauzers and Norwich Terriers.
As one of Finland’s most respected all breed judges, Mr. Lehtinen judged all over the world, including at the most prestigious venues. Notable assignments included the Sydney Royal, the FCI World Dog Show, Crufts, the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, and Best in Show at Montgomery County Kennel Club.
The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to all of Hans Lehtinen’s family and friends during this time. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
