Lahaina Fires · Please Consider Helping the Maui Humane Society

No doubt you’ve heard about the catastrophic fires in Lahaina. The human suffering is beyond measure, and the animals of Lahaina are suffering as well. Pets were trapped in their homes to be burned alive, some died with their owners trying to flee, and some have been badly burned. The lucky ones have been displaced and are in the Maui Humane Society shelter with no hope of going back with their families since it will be years before homes are rebuilt. The entire town of 17,000, an eight mile stretch between the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains, is simply gone.

The Maui Humane Society has been working tirelessly to treat and house the affected animals and desperately needs funds for the treatment of injured animals, medicine, crates, food, etc.
