Ken McDermott Retires from Successful Judging Career
The Canine Chronicle received the news from our friend Mr. Ken McDermott that he has now retired from a long, successful judging career following his Montgomery County Kennel Club assignment this week. He has formally requested emeritus status with the American Kennel Club.
Mr. McDermott has enjoyed judging for over 40 years. With 33 Montgomery County Kennel Club assignments, 13 Westminster Kennel Club assignments, and many National Specialty assignments, his success as a judge cannot be disputed.
Mr. McDermott mentioned that he may be at the occasional show. He would also like to thank his many friends and colleagues for their friendship over the years.
Ken, we wish you the absolute best in your retirement! Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge, and expertise with us all for so many years.
