American Kennel Club Awards the 2021 Junior Versatility Scholarships
The American Kennel Club (AKC®), the world’s largest purebred dog registry and advocate for all dogs, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2021 Junior Versatility Scholarships. The scholarships are generously offered by Carolyn and Gary Koch in memory of GCHP Hill Country’s Let ‘s Get Ready to Rumble, Elizabeth Fletcher in memory of her mother Doris A. Hall, the NC Triangle Judges Education Group, and the AKC National Junior Organization. The AKC awarded the AKC Junior Versatility Scholarships to the top ten Juniors who competed in a minimum of three different competitive AKC Events. The dates of competition were July 1, 2020-June 30, 2021. The American Kennel Club thanks each donor for making this possible.
“We are pleased to recognize these standout Junior Handlers who participate in various AKC sports,” said Doug Ljungren, Executive Vice President of AKC Sports & Events. “The hard work, dedication and passion for dogs that they have shown is amazing to see.
