AKC Board Ad Hoc Committee Regarding Canine Genetic Testing
Chairman William Feeney has announced the appointment of an ad hoc committee comprised of AKC Delegates, AKC staff, scientists, and veterinarians, each with specific related knowledge and experience, to research and analyze both the current state and the future of canine genetic testing.
The committee’s primary work product will be a comprehensive white paper describing the committee’s findings as well as any recommendations regarding the future use of genetic testing by AKC and its breeders.
This white paper will serve as a resource for AKC Board Members, Delegates, breeders and staff.
