Remembering Stan Flowers
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Stan Flowers passed away at the age of 87. Stan will always be remembered as the consummate professional and a great mentor, friend, breeder, and sportsman. Stan was one of the most successful dog handlers in the history of the sport with a career spanning 70 years. He was very dedicated to his beloved wife, Jane, who passed away last year.
Together, Stan and Jane bred Bulldogs, French Bulldogs and Boxers under the Evergreen kennel name. Stan had a wicked sense of humor and so much knowledge about dogs. He was always a joy to “talk dogs” with whenever I saw him. Stan would want the fancy to remember the good times with Jane and him. Rest well, Stan. You can now dance with your beloved Jane once again.
