Remembering John Benoit

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we report the passing of John Benoit of Woodstock, Illinois yesterday, March 22, 2020.

John devoted much of his time to the sport of purebred dogs. He was a successful and talented handler of many breeds. He was a member of the Professional Handlers’ Association and Dog Handlers Guild. In addition to handling, he also bred beautiful Dalmatians under the Dakota prefix with wife Kris Benoit. Beyond handling and breeding, he was a kind friend to so many.

The Canine Chronicle extends our heartfelt condolences to Kris, and to his many friends and family during this time. He will be sorely missed.
