Remembering Chris Walkowicz

We received the sad news that Chris Walkowicz of East Moline, Illinois has recently passed away. Mrs. Walkowicz was a past respected and popular AKC Judge of all Sporting,  Working and Herding breeds.

Before embarking on her judging career, Mrs. Walkowicz bred German Shepherd Dogs and Bearded Collies under the Walkoway prefix. Together with her husband Ed, they bred and owned nearly 50 AKC Champions and an additional 75 dogs with performance titles. Chris also was a successful and award winning author. Notably, she was the author of “Dog Show Judging: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”

The Canine Chronicle extends our heartfelt condolences to Chris’ many friends and family following her passing.
