Remembering Pat Jones – Wingssong Papillons

We are saddened to report the passing of Pat Jones of Maple Park, Illinois following her battle with terminal cancer.

Pat, along with her daughter, Chris Jones, successfully bred beautiful Papillons under the Wingssong prefix for over thirty years. Pat devoted much of her life to the Papillon breed. She bred and owned several Papillon Best in Show and Best in Specialty show winners. Pat often traveled to the dog shows with her daughter Chris, who is a professional handler. Pat was a fabulous example to many in the sport, as someone who was always friendly, kind, and willing to lend a helping hand.

The Canine Chronicle would like to extend our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all of Pat’s family and many friends during this difficult time. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

The funeral arrangements for Pat Jones are as follows:

Visitation – Monday, April 10, 2017 – 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Funeral Service – Tuesday, April 11, 2017 – 10:30 AM
