Hardwoof Wood Flooring Line For Pet Owners Leads Industry In Dent and Scratch Resistance
Nydree Flooring, a leader in high-quality, design-driven engineered wood flooring, has leveraged its expertise in developing the most durable hardwood flooring for high-trafficked commercial properties to pet residences and facilities. Hardwoof, a pet-friendly product line designed to meet the demands of dogs and their owners, leads the industry in durability and dent and scratch resistance. It withstands the scraping, pounding, sliding and pawing that homes, pet residences and facilities, hotels and other properties face on a daily basis.
“Our Hardwoof engineered wood flooring provides dog lovers and facilities that accommodate dogs the accessible luxury and performance of our commercial wood flooring with an all new specially formulated finish with industry leading scratch and wear resistance,” said Jason Brubaker, Nydree Flooring vice president of sales and marketing. “We are pleased to present another premier option to the flooring industry through our Hardwoof products, which incorporate the same acrylic-infused technology, durability and sustainability for which Nydree is known.”
The Hardwoof collection, introduced in April 2015, features the natural warmth, beauty and sound of real wood with the durability of acrylic. It is available in 5 SKUs consisting of three species (White Oak, Maple and Ash). The American-crafted product is 300 percent more dent-resistant than standard wood flooring, provides enhanced moisture resistance and has greater dimensional stability than traditional substrates.
The new dog-friendly finish features taber abrasion resistance of more than 4,000 tabers, dent resistance up to 8,000 psi and unsurpassed scratch resistance. The flooring material is a low-emitting material that is FloorScore certified. The marine-grade, Baltic birch plywood platform is CARB phase 2 compliant, and the laminating glue contains no added formaldehyde.
“Nydree has remained committed to developing the highest quality, preeminenthardwood flooring technologies, and we are honored to share this tailored option to a market that expects and desires premium products for their loved ones—the four-legged and two-legged variety,” said Brubaker. “Hardwoofallows our dog-loving clients and friends to bring our dedication to sustainability, performance and style into their businesses and homes.”
