The Multiple All Breed Best In Show & Best In Specialty Show Winning

GCh. Pikkinokka’s Lightning Bug

America’s #1 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever* · #9 Sporting Dog*

“FLASH”

There are some dogs that have a special quality; one that endears them to everyone and makes a significant impact on everyone’s life they meet.  So it is with Flash. Purchased in 2008 to be a companion for Stacy Einck-Paul while her husband was deployed in Iraq, and to keep her then-small daughters company, Flash quickly became the center of attention in that household.  He literally crawled into Nancie Mages’s life (actually, her lap) melting her heart immediately, with her later becoming his co-owner. No matter where he goes, Flash has always been that dog that gets your attention.

Everything Flash does exudes joy. This is especially true when he is in the ring, where he and his handler, Don Powell, have become a powerhouse team. His signature “tolling tail” is known from coast to coast.

Flash’s celebrated type and movement has made him the top winning Toller in AKC history based on Best in Show and Group First wins. He is also the first toller to be ranked in the Top 10 Sporting Dogs. Add to that his 2011 National Specialty Best In Show and you have a resume that would make anyone proud.

Our utmost gratitude to Flash’s breeders Mathilde Niquidet and Wayne McCarthy for allowing this very special dog into our lives and Nancie Mages for believing in all of us!
