- I am a breed in the Sporting Group originating in Hungary; AKC’s 180th recognized dog breed.
- I am a medium-sized breed differentiated from my smooth-coat cousin by a weather resistant dense wiry coat, shaggy beard and eyebrows setting off a bright, lively expression. I stand a shade taller and may be a bit heavier than my smooth-coat cousin.
- My movement is powerful yet graceful with far reaching drive enabling me to hunt in all elements. I possess an excellent nose for hunting and tracking feather and fur on land and in water, as well as a natural point and retrieve.
