Southern Handlers Charity League – “Tim, Butcher The Beard!” Fundraiser
The Southern Handlers Charity League is a charitable organization consisting of professional handlers that give back to those in the dog show community who are in need. In the past, their efforts have helped individuals in a myriad of situations, including, but not limited to, those who have lost family members, been ill, been in car accidents and suffered from house fires. In their fourteen years since inception, The Southern Handlers Charity League has donated over $100,000 to over fifty individuals or organizations.
This summer, the Southern Handlers Charity League’s fundraiser is titled “Tim, Butcher The Beard!”. Tim James, of Onofrio Dog Shows, has agreed to cut one inch off of his beard for every $1000 that is raised to support The Southern Handlers Charity League and the Junior Achievement Challenge. If $20,000 is raised, Tim will shave his beard completely! The fundraiser ends on June 28th during the Summer Classic Dog Shows in Okalahoma City, Oklahoma.
The fundraiser has been met with a fabulous response so far, with over $8000 raised to date! Exhibitors and judges alike have been donating to the cause at shows all over the country. To donate online, click here. Or, see Jill Bell, David Williams, or Robert Chaffin in Abilene, TX or Arvind DeBraganca in Deland, Florida this weekend.
Donate to the Southern Handlers Charity League and the Junior Achievement Challenge, all while joining in the fun of “Tim, Butcher The Beard!”.
