Send Us Your #FormFollowsFunction Photos!
All dog breeds were bred to perform a specific purpose. We want to see our readers’ dogs doing the work they were bred to do to be shared on The Canine Chronicle!
Thank you Ronda Dillard for sharing these Form Follows Function photos of your Pembroke Welsh Corgi, “Reba,” (NBISS GCHB CH MACH RACH Croswynd’s Aruba Arriba CDX PCD BN RM2 RAE3 HT FDC MXB MJB MFB TQX T2B FCAT CGC VCX) doing what they were bred to do! Ronda says, “The current Pembroke Welsh Corgi National Specialty Best in Show, “Reba,” can also herd! During the National Specialty week, she earned two herding legs for HT, her agility Championship (MACH), Obedience High In Trial, FastCAT legs and was the Pembroke Welsh Corgi National Specialty winner.” According to the American Kennel Club, “The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is affectionate and companionable without being needy. They are one the world’s most popular herding breeds. Built long and low, Pembrokes are surprisingly quick and agile. As herders bred to move cattle, they are fearless and independent.”
