Russian Exhibitors Traveling to 2015 World Dog Show Die In Tragic Accident

On the morning of June 8th, a tragic accident occurred on the 208th kilometer of the federal highway, M-1 in Russia. The automobile accident involved an Iveco semi truck and a Mercedes Sprinter that was traveling to the 2015 World Dog Show in Milan, Italy.

Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the van drove into oncoming traffic and collided with the Iveco semi truck. Preliminary reports also indicate that six individuals and many dogs died in this accident. Pavel Voronov, Darya Boldyreva, Tatyana Skoropupova, Maria Baturina and Julia Khoklova have passed away following the collision. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
