How is judging at Westminster different than judging at all other shows?

I have found that the actual in-the-ring judging is no different to me than any other show. It is still a matter of sorting through breeding stock and rewarding the most valuable of those in the ring.

But the rest is incredible. It starts with THE letter arriving in May, followed by years of secrecy. It is such an honor to be asked. We all have Westminster memories from years ago. It was a local show to me, and I first attended when I was 12. It was magical and has always remained so. The history and the setting have always been breathtaking.

I am so looking forward to seeing what magic the forward-thinking WKC members will conjure up for this beautiful venue.
