Remembering Michael Shoreman

We received the sad news that Michael Shoreman passed away yesterday, March 25th, surrounded by family. Mr. Shoreman was a American Kennel Club and Canadian Kennel club Judge of All Breeds.

Before embarking on his judging career in 1987, Mr. Shoreman successfully bred Border Terriers and Weimaraners under the Roschel prefix. The Roschel dogs have accounted for several top-ranked, Best in Show, and National Specialty winning dogs. The Weimaraner, CH Roschel’s Fashion Impact still holds the breed record in Canada. He is also a past Chairman of the Canadian Kennel Club.

As a judge, Mr. Shoreman has judged all over the world and at many prestigious venues.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to Mr. Shoreman’s wife, Rosemary, and his family family and friends during this difficult time. He will be missed.
