Remembering Marion Lawrence

It is with great sadness that we report the recent passing of Mrs. Marion Lawrence. Marion and her late husband, Sam Lawrence were avid dog show fanciers and staunch supporters of the sport of purebred dogs.

Sam and Marion discovered and owned many famed and admired show dogs, including four different dogs that won over 100 Best in Show awards. These dogs include, Doberman Pinscher, Ch. Brunswig’s Cryptonite, Wire Fox Terrier, Ch. Registry’s Lonesome Dove, Black Cocker Spaniel, Ch. La-Shay’s Bart Simpson and Maltese, Ch. Ta-Jon’s Tickle Me Silly.

The Lawrences also collected American artwork and were major supporters of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

The Canine Chronicle would like to extend sincere condolences to Marion’s family and many friends during this difficult time. She will be missed.
