Remembering Enrique Filippini

It is with great regret that we report the recent passing of Mr. Enrique Jorge Filippini of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mr. Filippini was a longtime highly regarded judge of All Breeds.

Before embarking on his illustrious judging career, Mr. Filippini was a successful breeder of many breeds, including Boxers, Miniature Pinschers, Borzoi, and Italian Greyhounds. He was the breeder of many Best in Show winners. Also, Mr. Filippini was awarded Best Breeder and Best Exhibitor in Argentina on four different occasions.

Enrique Filippini judged all over the world, including at some of the world’s most prestigious venues. He officiated at the FCI World Dog Show and the AKC Eukanuba/National Championship. He will be remembered as an excellent judge and a kind gentleman.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to Mr. Filippini’s life partner, Mr. David Ojalvo, and his many friends and family during this difficult time. He will be missed.
