Philadelphia KC Show Results Embargoed!

The show results for the Kennel Club of Philadelphia were removed from our site today per a request from Mr. Steve Griffith, General Manager of Vizion Group PR that handles public relations for the “National Dog Show”.

As Mr. Griffith explained to us today, they request all media outlets to embargo the show results until after the broadcast of the show on Thanksgiving Day. There is concern that viewers will not tune in to the Thanksgiving Day broadcast if they were to see the results on www.caninechronicle.com.

After a lengthy discussion regarding the reporting of news to the dog show world and how it relates to the general television viewing public, it was decided that the report would be pulled down since there was still great concern from Mr. Griffith that other media outlets would pick up the story.
