Fire Devastates Julre Kennel in Waynesville, MO

On Friday, March 29th, lighting struck the Julre Kennel, located in Waynesville, Missouri and owned by Joe and Julie Hayes. A fast moving and devastating fire ensued. Joe and Julie were able to save 14 of the 55 show and breeding dogs that were at the kennel. Firefighters were at the home and kennel within minutes, but the fire had already taken over much of the home and kennel.

In additional to losing the many beloved dogs, Joe and Julie also lost their home, kennel, and all belongings.

Joe and Julie Hayes have over 80 combined years of experience showing and breeding Cocker Spaniels. They are active members of the dog show community.
