Exciting New Changes for the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship
Entries close Wednesday, November 14, 2012!
The 2012 edition of the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show has added to the format of this prestigious show. All AKC registered dogs are eligible to compete at the 12th Annual event held December 15-16, 2012 in Orlando, Florida for the first time since the successful 125th Anniversary Show in 2009.. This will be a great way to start out that exciting new young dog or a glorious way to finish a dog’s championship. With the three all breed shows of the Orlando Cluster (Space Coast Kennel Club of Palm Bay, Brevard Kennel Club, Central Florida Kennel Club) being held December 12-14 in the same location, this will be the year’s premier weekend of dog shows for conformation, obedience and agility.
In celebration of the new show format for the 2012 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, all dogs who achieved the established “qualifying criteria” will be welcomed into the new “AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Honor Roll”. Dogs on the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Honor Roll will earn a “Certificate of Achievement” and other benefits in recognition of these accomplishments.
Each dog inducted into the “Honor Roll” will be entitled to:
- A commemorative pin acknowledging them as a 2012 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Honoree. This pin is exclusively for dogs that have qualified and are competing at the event.
- A personalized “Certificate of Achievement” certificate as a 2012 Honor Roll qualifier.
- Special designation in the event catalog as an Honoree for that year.
- One free photograph of the Honoree in the online catalog that is archived on the AKC website.
Entries for the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship are quickly approaching the deadline.
