AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Featured On AT&T U-Verse Sports
If you missed the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship (AENC), which aired last year on FidoTV (Channel 245 on DISH), you can now be part of the excitement of the show thanks to a new documentary by U-Verse, operated by AT&T.
The AKC holds the nationwide all-breed show in Orlando, Florida, each December. Although the documentary focuses on the conformation competition, other sporting sporting events including the AKC Agility Invitational, AKC Obedience Classic, Dock Dog competitions and demonstrations, AKC Meet the Breeds, and more are featured. Last year’s event attracted more than 4,160 dogs and over 6,000 entries, a new record in the show’s 15-year history.
Guiding viewers through what the National Championship is all about are AKC President Dennis Sprung, AKC Vice President Gina DiNardo, and AKC Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Jerry Klein, as well as many talented handlers and breeders.
The AENC documentary also features some canine faces viewers might recognize from this month’s Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, including Rumor, a champion German Shepherd Dog who was a crowd favorite at this year’s Westminster show and won Best in Show in Florida.
