Remembering Peter Baynes

It is with great sadness and regret that we report the passing of AKC Judge and former handler Peter Baynes. He passed away this morning at his home in Lyman, SC.

Peter will be remembered by all for his dry wit and affable manner. He was a respected judge whose opinion was held in high regard by those in the fancy. Peter wrote regular columns for The Canine Chronicle for the past 6 years. His column was widely read and his humorous take on events within the sport brought a smile to many faces.

We extend our sympathy to his family. We will bring you more information regarding the funeral and memorials within the next few days.
