Fake Horse Facility Was a Cover For Major Underground Drug Operation
By Brittany Bevis of The Equine Chronicle
In a truly bizarre story coming out of British Columbia this week, officers with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement BC Unit seized 10,000 marijuana plants and 200 pounds of dried marijuana at four different properties located in Mission. Oddly enough, one of the properties housed an underground bunker that was concealed by a fake horse barn and paddock.
All of the marijuana grow-ops were large and sophisticated in design. However, the underground bunker located at De Graff Road was the most unusual and featured a unique ventilation system that was camouflaged by horse stalls, a fake doghouse, and a fake fire pit.
