Update: Canine Chronicle Virtual Dog Show – You Be The Judge! – Brittanys
It is time to put your thinking caps on! For today’s Virtual Dog Show, we are asking our readers to be the judge and place the following three Brittany Dogs First, Second and Third AND to tell us why.
The complete AKC Official Standard for Brittanys is available online here. As quoted from the AKC Standard, the general appearance of the Brittany is as follows:
A compact, closely knit dog of medium size, a leggy dog having the appearance, as well as the agility, of a great ground coverer. Strong, vigorous, energetic and quick of movement. Ruggedness, without clumsiness, is a characteristic of the breed. He can be tailless or has a tail docked to approximately four inches.
UPDATE: Our “at home” judges overwhelmingly chose Dog C as their first place. Thanks to all for your enthusiastic participation! Thank you to Karen Hanson for sharing these photos which consisted of three group winning dogs from three different decades!
If you have 3 dog photos of your own you would like to share for this series or have any feedback – please email Cheslie at cheslie@caninechronicle.com. We look forward to your participation!
