National Champions in Agility, Obedience and AKC Rally Crowned in Perry, GA
The top dogs in the nation were crowned from an overall entry of more than 1,900 this weekend at the American Kennel Club® (AKC®) National Agility Championship, AKC National Obedience Championship and AKC Rally National Championship held in Perry, Georgia
“It is inspiring to see the performances at these three National Championship events. The joy of being there and the comradery among the exhibitors makes this a celebration of the sports,” said Doug Ljungren, AKC Vice President of Sports and Events. “These dogs are truly the best in their sport from across the country. We’re proud to acknowledge the accomplishments of these talented dogs and dedicated handlers.”

Placing first in their height division (8″, 12″, 16″, 20″, 24” and 26″ respectively) were:
- 8” – NAC MACH7 Aerilee’s Like Never Before MXS2 MJG2 XF T2B2 (Wren), a Papillon handled by Betsey Lynch of Delware, OH
- 12” – Quicksilver Cherry On Top MX MXJ OF (Sundae), an All American Dog handled by Angie Benacquisto of Ortonville, MI

- 20”- MACH2 Cedar Jedi Master Spirit MXS MJS EF T2B2 (Jedi), a Border Collie handled by Susan McGowen of Albuquerque, NM
- 24” – NAC MACH Sagehill Silver Lining MXS MJS NF CGC (Gromit), a Border Collie handled by Maria Badamo of Midlothian, TX
- 26” – MACH Ignited’s Bluebird MXB MJB OF (Bird), a Border Collie handled by Dudley Shumate of Clemmons, NC
