Remembering Ron Lombardi

Ronald J. Lombardi 88 of Brooksville, FL AKC Judge and Schnauzer Breeder died on May 25, 2024. Ron and his wife Pat were members of the International Kennel Club of Chicago and Park Shore KC in Chicago, as well as founding members of the Elgin, ILL KC. They were also members of The Standard Schnauzer Club of America. When Ron & Pat moved to Florida they became members of the Pasco Fl KC and heavily involved in the Florida January show circuits. He and his wife Pat established Bardwood Knls in 1969 that became a leading dog show and breeding kennel for Schnauzers. Over 100 champions carry the Bardwood prefix. They have bred and owned National and Regional Specialty winners, Hall of Fame and Leading Producers as well as top ten winners. Ron is survived by his wife of 59yrs, Pat and four of his five children, Matthew, Michael, David & Tricia and their families.

The Canine Chronicle extends our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many.
