Remembering Sue Vroom

It is with great sadness and report that we report the passing of former professional handler and American Kennel Club Executive Field Representative, Sue Vroom of Texas.

Sue was a beloved member of the dog show community. Originally based in El Monte, California, Sue and her late husband, Corky Vroom, were highly successful professional handlers on the West Coast for many years. Sue and Corky were responsible for the campaigning of many top specials in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. In 2005, the pair retired from handling. They relocated to Texas where Sue began her career as an Executive Field Representative for the AKC. Sue was a friend, mentor, and a wealth of knowledge to so many.

The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to the many friends and family who loved Sue. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
