Remembering Manuel Miyares

The Canine Chronicle regrets to report the sad news that Manuel Miyares recently passed away.

Mr. Miyares was a steadfast supporter of the sport of purebred dogs, as a charter member of the Metairie Kennel Club and leader of the cluster of dog shows in Biloxi, Mississippi for many years. He traveled to many dog shows with his friend, Carlos De Bango. He was also a breeder of Maltese, notably, the Best in Show winning Ch. Sazerac Eye Opener.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family during this time. He will be missed.
