Remembering Frank Sabella

The Canine Chronicle is deeply saddened to relay the news that an icon in the sport of purebred dogs, Mr. Frank Sabella, has passed away.

Mr. Sabella was revered as one of the greatest and most knowledgeable men in the sport. He was a multi-group judge and of course, a Poodle aficionado. He was a successful professional handler known for his talent and flair in the ring. He retired from handling in 1973 after winning Best in Show at Westminster Kennel Club with Ch. Acadia Command Performance. As a judge, his assignments took him to the most prestigious venues all over the world. His opinion was one of the most sought after in the sport.

The Canine Chronicle extends our sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed.
