Remembering Betty Lou Parris

The Canine Chronicle received the news that Betty Lou Parris of Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey passed away on Friday, December 29th at the age of 80. Mrs. Parris was an AKC Judge of a variety of Working breeds.

Betty Lou and her late husband, George, bred and exhibited Great Danes for many years. They also owned and operated Gebet’s Kennels for over 30 years. She judged throughout the United States, including at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog show. Betty Lou was a member of the Great Dane Club of Pennsylvania and the Gloucester Kennel Club. She was respected as a breeder and judge.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11 AM at the Woodside Funeral Home in Salem, NJ. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd from 6 – 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
