American Kennel Club Announces Wagz Acquisition of Smart Pet Technologies, LLC’s (SPT) Link AKC Smart Collar

NEW YORK, NY – The American Kennel Club ® (AKC ® ) , the sole member of Smart Pet Technologies , LLC (SPT) , announced today that the L ink AKC ® smart collar was acquired by Wagz Inc. The L ink AKC ® smart collar is a GPS – enabled dog collar that uses cutting – edge technology to help people stay connected to their dogs like never before .

SPT officially launched the Link AKC ® smart collar and app in Ma y 2017, and soon after became a leading player in the rapidly growing pet technology market.
