iCalmDog: Music Therapy For the Prevention and Treatment of Canine Anxiety
iCalmDog is a portable music player loaded with four hours of music that is clinically demonstrated to calm dogs. iCalmDog notes that the player can be used to calm dogs during thunderstorms, fireworks, separation anxiety and other possibly stressful events.
iCalmDog can be purchased here. iCalmDog released the following press release earlier this week:
The picture says it all. Cyrus was a hyper-active, rescued Italian Greyhound. Within weeks, he became the calm poster child for iCalmDog.
iCalmDog is new and our most ambitious product to date. After a book, 9-CDs, and 100,000+ units sold, we’ve now essentially created an iPawd – a portable sensory solution for canine anxiety.
Additionally, we’ve collaborated with trainer Victoria Stilwell and iCalmDog has expanded into a behavioral modification system based on auditory and visual cues. Combining positive reinforcement techniques with sensory triggers, iCalmDog addresses difficult behavioral issues – aggression, separation anxiety, and noise phobias – in ways never before possible.
What makes iCalmDog unique?
- The media of iCalmDog is an SD micro card, capable of 17 hours of programmable sound and silence
- Available in blue with yellow – the only colors that dogs see clearly
- Programming is expansive.
- Sensory training works.
