Remembering Mildred Bryant
We are sad to report the passing of Mildred Bryant of Bridgeport, Texas on July 22nd 2020.
Mildred Bryant was one of our sport’s most popular and respected judges of the Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding Groups. Mrs. Bryant retired from judging in 2013, but was extremely popular and sought after judge in the 70s – early 2000s. She was known for her calm demeanor, kind words, and sharp eye for dogs. Her judging career spanned many decades from 1973 to 2013. Her judging assignments took her all over the world as well as to many prestigious venues.
Before embarking on her successful judging career, Mrs. Bryant bred and owned Cairn Terriers under the Milbryan prefix. She also owned and handled Doberman Pinschers, Dachshunds, Sealyham Terriers and Lhasa Apsos.
The Canine Chronicle extends our sincere condolences to her many friends and family following her passing. She will be sorely missed.
