Remembering Patsy Wood – Penllyn Sealyham Terriers
The Canine Chronicle regrets to relay the news that Mrs. Patsy Wood, master breeder of Penllyn Sealyham Terriers and Dandie Dinmont Terriers passed away yesterday, September 17th, 2018.
Mrs. Wood enjoyed world-wide success with Pennllyn Sealyham Terriers, breeding nearly 50 Sealyham Terrier and 5 Dandie Dimont Terrier Champions. Notably, she bred Ch. Penllyn Proper Bloke II, the first American Bred Sealyham Terrier to finish his English Championship. Penllyn Sealyham Terriers can be found in the pedigrees of many successful Sealyham kennels across the world.
Patsy wood was a friend and mentor to many. She was a longtime and active member of the Montgomery County Kennel Club. Many looked forward to seeing her at the show, year after year.
The Canine Chronicle extends sincere condolences to Mrs. Wood’s family and friends during this time. She will be missed.
